Not your keys,
not your coins —
PHYLAX gives you
the keys.

The open-source hardware wallet that returns full sovereignty to its owner. No custodian. No cloud. No walled garden. Just you, the device, and twenty-four words you write down once.

01 · The Problem

Every exchange
that has ever
existed, has failed.

Mt. Gox. QuadrigaCX. Celsius. FTX. Six billion dollars in customer funds vanished into bankruptcies and indictments in 2022 alone. The pattern repeats because the architecture invites it: someone else holds your keys, you hold an IOU.

Q · 01
If your bank went insolvent tomorrow, would you still own your money?
Your deposits are an unsecured loan to an institution. You are a creditor, not an owner. Bitcoin was designed to end that arrangement — but only if you actually hold the keys. Otherwise you've just swapped one IOU for another.
Q · 02
If your exchange gets hacked, who covers the loss?
Nobody. There is no FDIC for crypto, no court that can subpoena a stolen private key. Every centralised exchange is a honeypot. The only way to be un-hackable is to never be on the network in the first place.
Q · 03
If the firmware is closed-source, how do you verify what it's doing?
You don't. You trust. Every closed-source wallet asks you to take the manufacturer's word that the device isn't leaking entropy, isn't signing in the background, isn't phoning home. PHYLAX publishes every line of code so the community — not us — can verify.
Q · 04
If sovereignty costs $200+, is it really for everyone?
No. Today, hardware wallets are priced like luxury goods. We engineered PHYLAX to ship at a fraction of that without compromising on what matters — open, auditable security. Sovereignty should not be a class privilege.

We did not build PHYLAX to compete with banks. We built it because we believe the only key holder should be you — and the world has spent two thousand years forgetting that owning the key to your front door is the same thing as owning the door.
